Intense, complicated sci fi or maybe it was just me. The author doesn't mollycoddle you and if you can't keep up with the tech, the players and the conspiracy he's building that is just too bad. Good story but bloody, violent and, in places, stomach churning. Might read book 2 might not, the protag definitely grew on me.
