I've had Hex Hall in my TBR pile for quite awhile and wasn't really planning on reading it any time soon. I had sworn off most YA/high school books lately since I've almost always been left feeling like there should have been 'more'. But when Hex Hall came up in a comment thread recently I took another look and I'm so glad that I did.
Despite being full of the teenage angst I've been try to avoid, Hex Hall was a good read. The mystery led me into many plausible dead ends and the characters weren't one dimensional so it held my attention even to the point that I didn't want to put it down! There was just enough humor, a tiny bit of romance and main character that I rooted for to the end.
Fun times ahead I'm guessing, I will refrain from reading the summary for book 2 so I don't ruin it for myself! :)
